Ikaio is a voice-first personal AI assistant. Its usefulness depends on remembering what you tell it, so this policy is blunt about what is stored, why, and how you delete it.

What we collect

• Account: your phone number (it is your login identity) and device push tokens.
• Conversations: transcripts of what you and Ikaio say, and the memories, profile facts, and reminders Ikaio distills from them.
• Connected services: data you explicitly connect, such as Google Calendar events (see below) or a linked Telegram chat.
• Operational records: a log of actions Ikaio takes on your behalf and the permission tier they ran under, plus service telemetry (latency, usage counts).

What we do not collect: raw audio is never retained. The wake word is detected on your device; audio streams only while you are actively talking to Ikaio and is transcribed in transit, not stored. There is no ambient listening.

Why we collect it

One purpose: making Ikaio work for you — answering with your context, remembering your life, delivering the reminders and briefings you asked for. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not train our own models on your conversations.

Google user data

If you connect Google Calendar, Ikaio requests read-only calendar access by default, and event-creation access only if you separately enable it. Calendar data is read to answer you in conversation and to compose your daily brief; OAuth tokens are stored encrypted, and events are not copied into long-term storage. Disconnecting revokes the tokens with Google and deletes them from our systems, as does account deletion. Ikaio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who processes your data

Ikaio runs on cloud infrastructure and uses third-party processors for speech recognition, voice synthesis, and AI responses. These vendors process conversation audio or text to provide the service, under their own API terms; we do not share your data with anyone for advertising, and we choose vendor settings that minimize retention wherever offered.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account exists. Every memory Ikaio holds is visible, editable, and deletable inside the app, one item at a time. "Delete everything" in Settings erases your account immediately and completely: conversations, memories, connected-service tokens (revoked vendor-side first), and the account itself. Deletion is real deletion, not a flag.

Your choices

• Every capability starts read-only; nothing acts for you without a permission you granted, and every grant is revocable in the app.
• Quiet hours and a daily cap control when and how often Ikaio may reach out.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the app will ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing — consent is versioned and logged.
